Fan art
In 2016 I started drawing people’s Instagram posts. I realized how unlimited the source of interesting images on Instagram was, so I committed to drawing one Instagram post a day for 365 days.
I called it “fanart,” because instead of just pressing the little heart, it felt like giving someone’s post and life an extra bit of appreciation.
I loved connecting with new people through the project, and looking back, it has become a kind of a visual archive of 2016/2017.
